I was in my vegetable garden when I saw a female Cardinal flying strangely with a plastic bag. I thought she gotten caught. Then I realized she was planning to nest in my clematis and this was her nesting material. It's a shame that birds have to use plastic trash for their nest which is unsafe. I took it away but I hope she still nests there. Humans have it backwards. We #litter everywhere with plastic and things that don't break down, and we clean up everything organic like leaves to the T and send it all to the landfill. #birdnest #plasticpollution #plasticharmingnature #leavetheleaves #nestingmaterial
