A little harvest from the garden before it's too wet/snowy/cold to get out there. Carrots, spinach, baby bok choy, arugula. I've been amazed at how much healthier and tastier the greens have been growing in the winter vs starting in the spring. The carrots I sowed last spring and I've just been using Mother Nature as my refrigerator! I hope the veggies make it through the single digits. A little bit about me... before I ever did any garden design, I studied oboe at the University of Kentucky. I have a Bachelors of Arts in oboe and Bachelors of Science in landscape architecture. I was very excited to attend an oboe recital presented by 3 professional oboists/oboe faculty. It's not often there is a recital featuring oboe! I enjoyed hearing oboe pieces I hadn't heard before, and some that I've played too. I've played many concerts on that stage and I do miss playing.
